Why Webinars Are Better INSET

Webinar: Short for Web-based seminar, it is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web using video conferencing software. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements — the ability to give, receive and discuss information.

Webinars are an excellent method of professional development or INSET as you are able to interact with the presenter, before, during and after the webinars without having to leave your school or college.

With financial pressures within schools and most external INSET costing in excessive of £200 per delegate, plus transport costs which can almost double this, webinars are a cost effective and engaging way to develop yourself and your staff.

You are able to complete the training without disrupting your teaching as all of our webinars are outside of the school day or at a weekend. Giving you more time with your classes and allowing you to develop yourself and prepare for the new specifications.
